Sausage and Peppers

A package of Sausage You can use chicken sausage or pork I like the Italian Flavor
1 tbls. oregano
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 can hunts tomato sauce
3 peppers they can be green or red sliced in slivers not to thin
2 onions sliced

Put sausage in a skillet with about a 1/2 cup of water
add oregano and garlic powder.Cook sausage for about 10 minutes over medium heat.Cut the sausage into small slices mine are usually 1 inch thick.Do this in the pan because the juice from the sausage stays in the pan.
Now take the onions and peppers put in the pan add the can of tomato sauce.Then fill the can half way with water pour in.Let this simmer with a lid until the onions and peppers are softened.I like them not to soft but do to your taste.Then its done.

It can be served over rice or bread. Enjoy
